     The purpose of this wiki is to share all Unit 1 assignments with each other and Mr. Ozeni for grading. The topics covered in this unit include writing a good hypothesis, collecting and graphing data, designing a good experiment, writing a good conclusion, and writing good procedures.  

Standards Covered

Scientific progress is made by asking meaningful questions and conducting careful investigations. As a basis for understanding this concept and    addressing the content in the other three strands, students should develop their own questions and perform investigations. Students will:

1. Plan and conduct a scientific investigation to test a hypothesis.
2. Evaluate the accuracy and reproducibility of data.
3. Distinguish between variable and controlled parameters in a test.
4. Construct appropriate graphs from data and develop quantitative statements about the relationships between variables.
